Tremeer Farm is a family run small holding. We do our very best to provide a safe environment, never the less there are many hidden dangers on a farm. Please be responsible for your children’s safety at all times, particularly around pizza oven, woodburning stoves, the hot tub, campfires and the animals. Please ensure that your children always wash their hands thoroughly after having contact with the chickens and animals. Because of the animals we do not allow dogs or other pets on site.
There is a walk up hill to the yurts across an uneven field, for which a reasonable degree of fitness and care is recommended.
Smoking is not allowed in the yurts or other buildings. Please do not use oil or gas lanterns in the Yurts. We provide a lantern for each Yurt but you should bring Torches.
Wood burning stoves/fire safety: Please don’t leave a stove alight unattended. Never hang anything on or close to the fireguards or close to the wood burning stoves. Always wear gloves when tending to the woodburning stoves. Please do not have any naked flames in the yurts. On arrival please read the safety book in your yurt. Please keep candles in the candle lanterns provided. We do not allow oil or gas lanterns in the Yurts, we will supply you with a re-chargeable lantern.
Arrival/Departure: Bookings run from 4pm on a Friday or a Monday. Please do not arrive on site before 4pm. We request that guests should leave by 10am on the day of departure. You are requested to leave the yurts and facilities the way that you found them, returning any items to the appropriate place.
Breakages: At the time of paying your final balance we request a refundable deposit of £50 against breakages. We request that you advise us of any damage/breakages as soon as possible in order that they may be replaced/repaired as soon as possible. You will be responsible for any serious damage/breakages occurring during your stay.
Bookings: Are only valid on receipt of a completed booking form and 50% deposit. The final balance is then payable 8 weeks prior to your stay. If the final balance has not been received by this time we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
Cancellation: We recommend that you take out a cancellation insurance at the time of booking your holiday or event. Please contact immediately should you need to cancel your holiday. In the event that you need to cancel your holiday more than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, Tremeer Farm reserves the right to retain the 50% deposit. In the event that you need to cancel less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, you will be responsible for the full cost of the holiday. We will make every effort to re-let your yurt and refund your money less £100 administration fee per yurt or Long Barn
Group Bookings: The groups organiser is responsible for completing the booking form and advising Tremeer Farm of any changes to the group prior to arrival. He/she is responsible for co-ordinating all deposits and balance payments. It is a condition of your booking that the total number in your party does not exceed the total number on the booking form. We strongly advise group organisers to take out cancellation insurance.
